Qualified by God, Even When the Path Isn’t Clear

“We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.”— 2 Corinthians 3:4–5

When Life Feels Overwhelming

It’s not that I lack vision. What I struggle with is understanding how all the moving parts of my life are supposed to fit together.

This season has been challenging. I’m navigating job loss, financial uncertainty, physical limitations from an injury, and the aftermath of a major move. I’ve always worked and always pushed forward—so finding myself in unfamiliar territory, trying to rebuild while trusting God in new ways, has been unsettling.

Lately, it feels like there simply aren’t enough hours in the day. Responsibilities, worries, and unexpected changes keep stacking up. Some days, the pressure feels heavy, and just keeping up feels like a challenge in itself.

Learning to Trust Without Clarity

At the same time, I’m learning how to show up online—writing, creating, and sharing—while being naturally introverted and wired to want everything in order before I begin. This season has required me to move forward without clarity, without guarantees, and without feeling fully prepared.

What I do know is this: I believe my calling is to minister to people—especially those navigating purpose, work, and faith in everyday life. That calling feels steady, even when the process feels fragmented.

Today, while reading Live Your Dreams, I was reminded that calling has never depended on feeling qualified. Scripture makes it clear—our confidence doesn’t come from ourselves. It comes from God.

Encouragement for the Journey

The frustration I feel isn’t about vision; it’s about feeling stuck. It’s about wondering how today’s challenges affect tomorrow’s stability. Yet I’m learning that faith often grows in seasons where answers are limited and trust is required.

Right now, I may not see clear evidence of growth—or maybe it’s happening quietly, beneath the surface. I’m learning to trust that even when progress isn’t visible, God is still working behind the scenes.

I don’t have everything figured out. But I’m choosing to believe that God is still at work—connecting what I can’t yet see. And if you’re in a season like this too, unsure how things will come together, know that you’re not alone.

Sometimes obedience looks like continuing forward, even when the path isn’t clear.

Let’s Connect

If you’re in a season where life feels overwhelming or uncertain, I’d love to hear how you’re navigating it. What helps you keep moving forward? Your story might encourage someone else who’s reading.

Even when we can’t see the full picture, we can trust that each step forward matters. You’re not alone in this journey.

xo,

Ramona Louise
